Barnett Newman-inspired “paintings in motion.” These moving images can be played singularly or simultaneously. A future, live installation will be interactive (conceptually) to allow viewers to experience the exhibit in the manner they prefer.

Quite honestly, these cinematic “paintings” should be experienced on a larger scale, rendering the proper perspective, so this is a general, overall impression–not a whole experience.

The soundtracks to these images are pieces created by T.D.T.U. and were created specifically in the spirit of the corresponding Newman work. While playing these tracks simultaneously, (specifically ‘First Station’ together with ‘Ulysses’, as an example) the music/sounds take on various dynamic changes and morphs–at times the dissonance affectionately lends to the overall sound experience. The music tracks can be found on T.D.T.U.’s album First Station.
